Feed an Afghan Orphan this Ramadan

As we begin our Ramadan with the comforting presence of our parents or caregivers, waking us up for Suhoor and offering various options to begin our fast, let us remember the stark contrast faced by the orphans of Afghanistan. Their Ramadan begins and ends on the unforgiving streets, their stomachs empty and their hearts heavy. For them, the luxury of choice is replaced by the harsh reality of survival.

Let us extend our compassion and generosity to these forgotten souls, ensuring that they too experience the nourishment and comfort of a proper suhoor and iftar. With your support, as little as £1 can make a difference. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said "Whoever gives food to a fasting person with which to break his fast, will have a reward equal to his, without it detracting in the slightest from the reward of the fasting person." (Tirmidhi) Please help us make a significant difference for the forgotten orphans of Afghanistan, who have no one else to turn to.

Here is a breakdown of where your donations will go:

Suhoor:
£5 = 10 nights worth of Suhoor for one child
£15 = Which covers Suhoor for one child for the whole month of Ramadan.

What’s included in the Suhoor package (for one child)
 2 x eggs
 1 x naan bread
 1 x cup of milk

Iftar:
£2 = 1 x Iftar for one child
£60 = Which cover Iftar for one child for the whole month of Ramadan.

What’s included in the Iftar package (for one child)
2 x dates
1 x portion rice + meat
1 x can of drink
1 x pot of yogurt
